Team #24296 Top Bot is the second official FTC team from Bettendorf High School. Just added for the 2023 season, the team is overseen also by Coach Andrew Taylor and Coach Eric McCoy and includes freshman and sophomore robotics members. Despite only being around for one season thus far, the team has overcome many challenges and worked close together to achieve success regardless of their newness.
Robotics at Bettendorf High School started in 2014 at the beginning of the school year in August where an introductory meeting was held. After discussing everyone's strengths and interests, the team became able to problem solve, brainstorm, and collaborate with other people very easily. First Tech Challenge (FTC) was introduced to the school board and the team began.
